found some files in a HUD that i was given and i was confused about 1 thing. when i opened it with photoshop (to edit of course) i found these things for GDI and NOD. I know scrin had them and what they did is, show the building and the hp, i guess a mod for BB. I was wondering if i am doing something wrong therefore not allowing me to see them :/ Could someone help me out and get this working?

wrong because the pics are in shaders or they are seperate tga files
anyway you need the shaders or bhs

edit: btw if it came with shaders and bhs and still not work check if you put all dbd or dll in renegade folder if still not make sure you didn't mix huds cause that's another big prob

I have those files too with one of the huds I have... I've tried to get them to work with no success.

Your best chance of getting it to work is black dragon of darkness

Btw did you try diffrent resoultions

Yeah, I tried 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1440x900

Humm you are most Likly missing some dll files or bhs if it has one.

But like I said black dragon is pro with huds he will know

bhs.dll is part of your scripts not your shaders, you need scripts 3.4 before any custom hud using shaders.dll or hud.ini will work. what you need is the ini code to activate & postion the bars. if i had all the hud files i could fix this for you. youalsoned make sure you have the building-bar shaders that are available in my epic hud thread

ok, sorry for the double post and bumping the thread but ive placed the bars and textures. i dont know if the rest of the hud looks any good because i dont have the textures. if you want the little images for the buildings, theyre in your always.dat (hud_oblisk.dds hud_refinery.dds) just extract them and paste them on to BB texture. nuked, i can send you the required ini to place them, but i warn you they take a huge amount of screen space at the edges.
