i want to start skinning again but i have a little program lol,
how can i plugin dxt tools into cs3 when i downloaded it from cncden?
And can someone tell me what is the standard option to save a skinned veh/char
So can someone upload a screenshot of the parameters when he saves a ''skinned med'' as example

I beleive you have to place it into your plugin foler, and the standard for vechs/characters (except petrova/chicken) is dxt1. When you want to save your .dds it will normally show a box, where dxt3 is checked, check dxt1 then click save and your done. If you have a blank skin you saved it the wrong dxt, renegade only uses dxt5 (for transparent skins like trees) and dxt1 for solid skins. |
