when i install the renegade tolls editor the renx dont opens w3d files,just gmax files.
i cant save gmax files to w3d and i cant edit the names of the vehs and buildings and anything like that(strings).

can someone help me pls?

you must install the w3d importer and w3d exporter, you can find them @ www.game-maps.net or here, but im not sure.

Its not easy to make good models, first you should try to make good dds skins and not copy and paste skins.
Then you should be able to find a download with the title w3d exporter for RenX and w3d importer for RenX.

If you cant find that then you rly should let it to model lol.

so download the importer and exporter for RenX then you can start with modeling.
If you downloaded it, move the extracted files to your Gmax dir.

And maybe I can help you to learn modeling, i can show you in the summer holydays the basics of models.
