Requests:
A M90 Minigun (Mounted). This is a 3D DOWNLOAD. W3D model AND have an unmouted version replace the chaingun.

Oh and can you also add the sound effects, Muzzle Flash, and get all the animations correct Lol. Yes, I know this will be detailed and will probably take a while and I am (as are the people who want certain things from here) are prepared to wait. I will update this regularly, as I(and other members of our team) think of stuff that we will probably need, so please check back often.

The w3d assets requested are part of a new map project that Distrbd Tecness and I were discussing in TeamSpeak tonight. Vehicles, weapons, buildings, will all be used, but the weapons that have a specified weapon to replace are just wanted as skins.

This is / was part of RenHalo I don't know if this full mod conversion is still being worked on though.

I have the halo characters and a few halo weapons but they are released to the public.

Good request thought I might actually make the snipers cause I like them alot and thanks for providing link saves alot of time.

No it's not part of it, we didn't even remember it until you mentioned it here, this was really just a thought of "lets look for a bunch of halo models and request some of them". Ren/Halo would be sweet to get a hold of though.

Tecnes, it isn't possible to use custom models for vehicles in renegade (you can still use custom models for the harvester though, not for the other vehicles)(unless when it's for a .pkg mod or a total conversion mod, those mods can still use custom vehicles). I heard there is a way to still make custom vehicles work in renegade, but I don't think people will want to release that way lol (at least I haven't seen a release for that yet)

No it's possible I know how to do it but servers detect it as hack (objects file) theres actually toutrials writtin on how to make objects files but almost all server auto ban if they see objects file in data folder. Yes, .pkg or your own map is probably best way of getting custom vehicals though.

The W3D models that are being made here are not going to be used for skins (That includes all vehicles). They will be used for a map that someone (Distrubd) will be making for the project.

Yes. it's possible if you put the objects file into your map.
But a w3d will not work.

No, I mean if he is making a map all he has to do is import the w3d vehical model into map but actually having the w3d in (your data folder) on a stock map will not work.

W3D is only the file type... It will work as W3D in a new map... The file must be W3D to be renderable with the Renegade W3D three dimensional game engine... As I said above, the weapons that had replacements that were specified should be skins, but the vehicles and buildings just need to be boned and playable W3D, boned and playable only means that you can toss them in the new map and play them without modifying anything. They would be set up as totally new vehicles, and useable in the new maps with totally new weapon designations and everything.

Examples of replaced vehicles in new maps are: The Medium Tank in C&C_Snow.mix, the Chem Tank in C&C_RuinsOX.mix ETC.
