| i'm sorry, but Avast utterly fails. it missed a virus that was on it's own watch list. i personally use AVG 8.0 Free Edition and havent gotten a virus since switching to it. ________________________________________ Get iZARC. everyone with issues with my files have fixed it with iZARC.

| i got the bought version of avg gave me some problems but just put on the allowed list some programs and now it works (programs like mIRC and Renegade) |

Prob ur mail is accessable in a webclient such as Gmail, Hotmail etc.?
I use Norton 360.
I can secure my own network open the ports I want with my nice modem.
I use Sygate Personel Firewall. You can easily select what's allowed to connect with ur pc.
Well of course we can all praise our own brands such as avast, avg, panda blabla.
But get yourself a legit one.
You'll receive nice updates to keep ur pc up-2-date virusproof.
I got no viruses for like 1,5 years now with Norton 360 and Sygate. |

360 Hardly picks up any viruses for me (Atleast when I had it 4 Months ago)
It slipped 4 viruses through, Luckily my Windows Defender picked them up.'
Whereas, Once I got AVG Free, It has already picked up and deleted two. |
